I can hear the questions from here! Melodie, what is Triquetra Therapytm?
Triquetra Therapytm is a unique combination of several therapies I used to do separately into one unique therapy.
Triquetra is latin for three-cornered, although over time it has become more associated with three intersecting elipses. You have probably seen this pattern in some versions of celtic knot work. In that context, it was and often is used to symbolize a triune deity, or triple god/goddess head. For example, father, son, and holy spirit, or the triple moon goddess (maiden, mother, and old crone or old wise woman). I also like to think of it as symbolic of the cycles of our lives and of nature, because the only constant in this life is change, and our lives are constantly changing; however, those changes do follow regular cycles.
I chose this name because my technique combines three very effective, very powerful comlementary therapies so that each supports and magnifies the others. In ecology, this is known as a synergestic effect, where the whole is actually greater than the sum of the parts. Ecosystems act like this, as do the biological systems in the human or any living body.
In Triquetra Therapytm I combine hypnosis/hypnotherapy, bioenergy treatments, and focus that bioenergy using crystals on specific body parts.

Yes, I hear you again! But Melodie, CRYSTALS?! Come on!
Yes, crystals. Crystals are amazing things, and much more powerful and complex than we first thought. Think about it. We are now using crystals in our computers, our watches, any time keeping device where extreme accuracy is required. We use them to cut stones (yes, diamonds are crystals too!), glass, listen to old vinyl records, and store our mountains of data (silicon computer hard drives are built on crystalline lattices, which contain the silicon in the center).
Add to this, that Our Very Life Blood contains a crystalline component: Iron. Iron, in liquid form as it is in our blood, is crystalline in nature.
And you know what else? Recently, Earth scientists have come to agreement that the Core of the Earth --- the molten iron core --- is also crystalline. They are basing this on the properties seen that they can measure.
So, YES CRYSTALS! :) There are studies that show just holding a very simple, very inexpensive quartz cyrstal helps boost the energy systems in the body. It helps strengthen them.
And if you really want to get metaphysical about the crystals, then I can go there with you too. Many tribal societies believe the "rock people" are a separate life form, that just moves very, very slowly and has a very, very long life span. Many years ago, not long after I started out on this journey that landed me in Colorado, several folks told me I had that gift. I didn't understand then, that not everyone else had the ability to hear the rock people. Recently, my journey made very clear why I had that gift. So yes, Crystals, too!
Triquetra Therapytm sessions are conducted on a reiki/massage table with you fully clothed and comfortable. The sessions run 60 minutes.
